When we did our consultation, as we were exploring how we would style her shoot, I said something that struck Candy: lady of the house. I was referring to taking inspiration from those beautiful hand painted oil paintings created by the old masters. The demure expressions, the rich clothing, the intricacy of colors and brushstrokes all culminating to create an image. A portrait. A beautiful woman that will never be forgotten. Candy has those piercing eyes that you feel look right into your soul. But not in a cold way. Rather, I’m a kind way that says, “I know and I care.” This is Candy, the lady of the house.
